WOVEN WILLOW BANK (SPILLING)
Ponds and streams with steep banks, can be prone to their sides slipping into the water, especially if newly dug or dredged. Our woven willow banking provides support while the soil becomes stable. Some of the willow will actually root, growing into the bank and aiding stabilisation.
Pictured left is a recently dredged pond where the sides were in danger of collapse. Our woven banking stopped that from occuring. The island was then back filled with topsoil and planted with spring bulbs, creating an attractive feature.
USES ONLY NATURAL MATERIALS: leaves no unsightly man-made rubbish on site and blends into the surrounding environment.
CREATES A LIVING BANK OVER TIME:
need only be constructed once making it very cost effective
